John Whitter
Chairperson, Malamulele Onward Board
John has lived all his life in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is married to Hazel, a teacher, and they have two adult children. John is a Chartered Accountant with many years of business experience in IT, financial services and the motor industry. For recreation John likes to keep fit through road running and tries to participate in at least one or two marathons a year. He also enjoys travelling, reading and motorcycling.
John believes the work of Malamulele Onward is very important as poor people in Africa affected by CP are relatively neglected and carry great personal burdens. He believes the Malamulele Onward intervention model is able to bring hope and relief to what are often desperate situations.
