Zaheer Adam
Board Member
Zaheer has a BA LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and is the founder of the firm "Adam Attorneys". He has practiced as an attorney for over 10 years specializing in corporate and commercial litigation where he represents companies such as Total SA, Credit Guarantee Insurance, Divisions of Auto & General Insurance as well as small to medium size enterprises and non-profit organizations and individuals. In 2008 he established a retail business in Sandton with exclusive rights to luxury, high end furniture brands from Germany. He brings to the board his experience as an attorney and businessman. Zaheer is also a parent of a child with CP and identifies with the cause of Malamulele Onward through his own personal experiences. Zaheer has branched off into business and has handed the reigns of his practice over to a partner, so that he can pursue his dream of becoming a pro bono lawyer and championing causes he believes in at no profit, Malamulele Onward being one such cause. He is married to Dr. Atiya Ravat and they have 3 boys, ages 4, 2 and 1.
