Further information for Carers, Families of Children with CP, and others on COVID-19

During this difficult period of lockdown and covid 19, Malamulele Onward has been committed to undertaking best practice as regards managing controlling the virus, and to continue to support the community as we can, including families of children with CP. For our safety and the safety of all our clients, staff and volunteers, Malamulele Onward has had to scale down some of our activities during lockdown. In particular, because of covid, we have had to postpone our CP Training courses first in May and now in July. To those we had to reschedule Training for, we apologise, and as soon as we are able to hold our Trainings as per restrictions, we will let you know. We will keep everyone updated on new Training courses via our website and social media, as restrictions are lifted and running these Trainings becomes possible. Please stay tuned. In the meantime, we continue to maintain best practice hygiene and social distancing as per the Government's recommendations, and follow all other directions as related to Government coronavirus restrictions.

Also, we would encourage everyone to keep up to date about the latest news about managing the coronavirus, and particularly how to care for a child with CP or other forms of immunosuppression or immunocompromised individuals during this time. The following resources below should be of assistance. For further information, people can go to https://sacoronavirus.co.za/
